Hiroaki Kitagishi (Professor, Doshisha University), of our Center, presented at “DeepTech Frontier Challenge For Researchers,” the researcher pitch contest held at Global Startup EXPO 2026 (GSE2026) on October 6 (Tue), 2026 at Grand Front Osaka (Knowledge Theater), as a representative selected through KSAC (Kansai Startup Academia Coalition), and received the NINE JP Award, the top prize of the contest.
In his pitch, he presented our research and development of an antidote for fire gas poisoning, including carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, along with our vision for its social implementation, to investors and business partners from Japan and abroad.
Encouraged by this award, we will further accelerate our research, development, and commercialization efforts to deliver this treatment to clinical settings as soon as possible. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported us.
