Our social implementation project centered on the CO antidote hemoCD has been selected for the third KSAC-GAP Fund STEP-2 (PMF phase).
Through this award, we will advance the following commercialization activities:
- Establishment of a GMP manufacturing system for hemoCD
- Implementation of non-clinical GLP studies
- Development of a Phase I/II clinical trial plan
- Formation of a management team, including CEO and COO candidates
- Business and fundraising planning and preparations for startup establishment
- Stronger collaboration with medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies in Japan and abroad
The KSAC-GAP Fund supports the commercialization of university-originated deep tech. This selection reflects the strong medical and societal value of hemoCD. Our center will accelerate research and business development toward startup establishment and the initiation of clinical trials.
